Q: When do I call a home inspector?

Typically this is done immediately after the contract or purchase document for a property has been signed. Occasionally sellers will have their home inspected prior to listing so they can be proactive in correcting issues.

Q: What if problems are found during the inspection?

This does not mean you shouldn't buy the home. The inspection is meant to give you knowledge of the repairs needed as you prepare to buy a home.

Q: Why test for radon?

Radon has been shown to be the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer, after smoking. Radon is odorless, colorless, and tasteless. The only way to know if a home has it is by testing.

Q: What do I do if the home has high radon levels?
